Eric and I tabled our honeymoon for a while. We didn't know if we could take one, with time, money and his job being a factor. Though now we've decide we can and are going to go on one. And my wonderful husband-to-be is planning the whole thing. So with some research and desire for a cabana on the beach. He's decided we are going to go to St. Marteen/St. Martin Island. I am so excited.

Woohoo! St. Martin is beautiful. Make sure you check out the nude beach on the French side of the island ;)
St. Maarten is awesome!! I spent a week there in 2007 at a friend's wedding. Make sure you rent a car and drive all over the island. The french side has amazing food. We loved the Sunset bar (right by the airport) and Bamboo Bernies has amazing sushi! We spent a lot of time on Dawn Beach it's a bit off the beaten path but it's awesome.
You will love it!
